An explosion of flavours awaits at Real Festival

You might want to start fasting now because you’ll need plenty of room for the smorgasbord of food dished up by Sydney’s best food trucks at Real Festival. Whether you like veggies or meat, something savoury or sweet – your tastebuds are in for a real treat!

If food is your thing, then you’ll be super excited by the gastronomic delights that await your tastebuds at Penrith’s Real Festival. Sydney’s best food trucks are there across the weekend serving up a variety of cuisines both day and night.

The riverbank of the Nepean River is the location for this vibrant outdoor food market. Grab a table and some chairs, bring a rug and sprawl out on the grass or simply enjoy snacking as you walk around, enjoying all the sights and sounds.

Char char

Everyone’s favourite Char Char Food Truck is back again this year and they’re bringing their sinfully satisfying range of ribs, burgers and loaded fries with them. If you’re after something more exotic, Mama Linh’s has you covered with their fresh and tasty Vietnamese street food.

Food and art is perfectly paired by Eat Art Truck; these guys won the best new food truck award and top 10 cheap eats by Good Food. Cooking up all their American BBQ street food are chefs with some impressive culinary experience. Did someone say 8-hour slow cooked beef brisket? Yes please!

There’s tastes and flavours from all around the world to savour or simply devour. The exotic flavours of Central American are being dished up by Raza Central Food Truck; then there’s fresh and tasty Japanese fare from Shiso Fine and no festival is complete without Let’s Do Yum Cha.

If you like your street food made with love, then Agape Organic Food Truck is where you need to go. These guys use only the best Certified Organic, Sustainable and Natural produce to prepare a menu full of goodness. Think spelt pizzas, tacos, nachos, hand cut chips and more!

Don’t worry, there’s also plenty of sweet options because we know dessert is the most important meal of the day. Our top picks are The Donut Dealer and Chillato who both serve up sinfully sweet treats that are anything but average; we’re talking sandwiches filled with gelato and donuts topped with your favourite biscuits.

Chandon SAfter working up a thirst, head to the Blonde Butler’s pop up bar and enjoy a beverage (or two). There’s also gourmet pizzas and a cheese and antipasto box to nibble on if you start to feel peckish. The pop-up bar is a new feature this year and it’s conveniently located in the middle of the venue - so you won't miss a moment of the action. We’ve thought of everything right?

If you’re after something a little bit fancy (and why not) there's a Chandon-themed lounge area serving up the Chandon S Orange Bitters cocktail; which is served over ice and has a fresh fruity twist. Kids can accompany adults into the pop-up bar but only adults aged 18yrs and over will be served and are permitted to consume alcohol.

If you like the sound of the Blond Butler pop-up bar (who doesn't?) then you'll love winning a $100 voucher to enjoy delicious food at your own reserved table. You'll also get to bring along three people. This prize also comes with a meet and greet with The Lorax or a behind the scenes tour with Strange Fruit. Head to the Facebook event for competition details and to enter.

Competition closes 12pm on Thursday 2 November 2017. Good luck!
